Phase 1: Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

The Physical Efficiency Test (PET) will assess candidates’ physical fitness based on different events. It is a qualifying stage without any marks.

    • 1.6 km Race: To be completed within 7 minutes 30 seconds
    • 11 Feet Long Jump: 3 chances
    • 3.5 Feet High Jump: 3 chances
  • For Female Candidates:
    • 800 meters Race: To be completed within 4 minutes 45 seconds
    • 9 Feet Long Jump: 3 chances
    • 3 Feet High Jump: 3 chances

Note:

  • Ex-Servicemen are exempt from PET.
  • The PET is qualifying in nature. No marks are awarded, but candidates must pass all events to move to the next stage.

Phase 2: Physical Standard Test (PST)

Candidates who qualify in the PET will undergo a Physical Standard Test (PST), where height, chest, and weight measurements will be verified as per the standards mentioned above.

Phase 3: Written Test

Candidates who pass the PST will sit for a Written Examination, which is OMR-based or Computer-Based Test (CBT) and carries a total of 50 marks. The test duration is 1 hour.

Phase 4: Documentation and Medical Examination

Shortlisted candidates will undergo Document Verification, Candidates must bring original copies of ID Proof (Aadhar, PAN), Matriculation Certificate, Caste Certificate, NSQF Certificate, and other relevant documents.

Candidates who pass the documentation stage will undergo a Detailed Medical Examination (DME). This includes a full physical check-up to ensure the candidate is fit for duty. If a candidate is declared unfit, they can appeal for a Review Medical Examination (RME).
